Music Courses at Duchess Park

Band 8

Starting at the beginning

Band 8 is ideal for students who are unfamiliar with band instruments and want to start playing. Instruments available in Band 8 are:

• Flute

• Clarinet

• Alto Sax

• Trumpet

• Trombone

Concert Band

Band 9/10

Concert Band is a large-ensemble class that teaches the skills required to further your musical knowledge, especially as it relates to ensemble playing.

Wind Ensemble

Band 11/12

Wind Ensemble is the premiere ensemble at Duchess Park and is made up of the most senior and most experienced students.  In this ensemble, the focus continues on ensemble playing as well as refining musicianship skills and musical leadership.
